Satin cotton fabric (polyester/cotton blended) with a 2:1 weave for high quality graphic art applications. This product is particularly suitable for full colour presentations of graphics, reproductions of artwork or photographs. The structure of the fabric is very pronounced which lends the material a decorative effect. Due to the presence of natural components (cotton) in the base material, the surface characteristics may vary slightly. The satin inkjet coating is scratch-, and water-resistant. This canvas offers quick drying, can be sewn, and can be used as a banner. The satin, water-resistant layer enables use without lamination or varnishing.

The converting and storage should take place in a climate of 35 to 65% relative humidity at temperatures of between 10 and 30°C. Due to the natural components of the material it tends to curl when relative humidity is fairly high, which can cause print head damage. We recommend that the material is first removed from original packaging when printing commences!. After the printing process put the media back in its original packaging. Cotton gloves are always recommended when handling Inkjet coated materials to avoid fingerprints.
Use dye inks only for short-term application (2-3 weeks).The inkjet coating is water-resistant with the correct inks as shown below. The product has mainly been designed for indoor applications. For long-term applications, the use of pigmented inks is strongly recommended. The media may also be sewn and used as a banner. Attention when using cut sheets: only put one sheet into the printer feeding. For protection and to reduce the impact of dirt, physical abrasion or other environmental impact we recommend our 1K-UV-Protection Lacquer AQUAPROTEC.
